Content Policy

Unless otherwise stated, all text content was created by either Megan Cooper or myself (Josh Garvin) or as a collaborative effort between the two of us. Any third-party text content will be properly sourced. The rights to said text content will be retained by the author(s) and is not to be reproduced, redistributed, copied, or otherwise reused in whole or in part, for commercial or non-commercial purposes without our express written permission.

Unless otherwise stated, all graphic/image/video/streaming content posted, embedded, linked to or otherwise displayed on this website belongs to Josh Garvin and the rights to such are retained by him. Where the content is third party, a link to the source will be provided and it will be credited. We claim no ownership or rights over third-party content. Graphic/image/video/streaming content is not to be reproduced, redistributed, copied, or otherwise reused in whole or in part, for commercial or non-commercial purposes without our express written permission. The content may, however, be linked to, either from our site or the site from which the original link was procured.

Content is not to be used in a derogatory, slanderous, libelous, or inflammatory manner. If we discover that content is being used in such a way, or against any of the terms established in the signed permissions contract, we will request that you remove the content and if necessary issue a formal cease and desist order and take legal action. If we discover that content has been used without our permission we will file a formal DMCA takedown notice against you.

If you see something on the site that you believe to be yours that has been miscredited, please contact either Megan at mcoope13@gmail.com, Josh at joshgarvinfilm@gmail.com or through the contact form on the contact page. We would be happy to discuss the matter and will gladly remove the material if it's necessary. Both of us have a background in copyright and permissions and are creatives ourselves and we understand the need for works to be protected.

Linking Policy

Because of the free and open nature of the Internet, we encourage linking from either the content on this site, or the source from which it was originally posted/procured (ie Josh's account on YouTube or his Zenfolio portfolio). You do not need our permission to link to this site, but we would request that you notify us if you are to link to our site, as knowing where we've reached is important and intriguing for us. If however, you want to frame our site on yours, we do require permission. Links may not be used in any derogatory, slanderous, libelous, or inflammatory manner. If we discover that a link has been used in a derogatory, slanderous, libelous or inflammatory manner, we reserve the right to terminate your ability to link to our page.

Confidentiality Policy

When you contact us, you are providing us with limited contact information (phone, email, etc). We respect your right to privacy as much as we respect our own. We will not sell, disseminate, repost, share or otherwise distribute your contact information to a third party or third-parties without your express written permission.  Your contact information will remain secure and in our possession only. Insofar as the information shared between ourselves and you, unless otherwise stated, the content of emails, phone calls, or any other forms of communication will remain strictly confidential until your express permission is given for it to be public or until the project/press matter requires its release. Either way, the matter will be discussed ahead of time. Insofar as dissemination or distribution of any information that we provide, we also request that the same courtesy be given regarding sharing information. As far as our contact information is concerned, we hereby give our permission for you to share our contact information to third parties as long as it is for the sole purpose of furthering business/networking opportunities.
